Hey Mike! Good to hear you're still around!

I moved to NC about a year ago. All is well...still rockin' the Z06, although I keep having bad thoughts about a nice 996TT to replace it.

Hit me up on email or phone if you want to talk. I'd like to hear about what you're doing. jeffreyjritter@gmail.com or 704 six seven four 7853.

You know...there's one positive to having squeaky brakes... its like a squeak-nod for those other track goers out there that recognize immediately why your brakes squeak. It always seems to spark up a conversation when another enthusiast comes up to you and says "track pads eh?" I've met a few people that way.
That's so true. The same thing goes with burnt-up calipers. I know a lot of my old big brake customers used to wear their burnt red or gold calipers as a badge of honor...a flag thrown up to other track guys.

A 996TT is never a bad thought. I will email you later today.

Yup, that was the ultimate flag amongst the STI crowd. The red lettering on the brembos would turn gray after heavy track use. "Respect" haha.

Great article JRitt. Very good information indeed!

Good thing I read it before throwing out the newb question "What's the best brake pad?". hahaha.

Rep point to you!
