I hear some Clunking Near the rear
So at low speeds, when im starting to roll, coming to a slow stop, or turning, I hear this clunking sound where the rear suspension (maybe?) or rear brakes (Maybe?). I thought it was coming from the stuff in my trunk but i close all the windows and the sound dies a bit, with the windows down however i hear it very clearly....Has anyone ran into this one before?

its probably rear axle click, the splines get really dry and start making noise.
|
How would i go about fixing it.
|
If your still in warranty take it to the dealer. If not just remove the rear axle nuts, pop out the axle and put molly grease on the axle splines, i had a click and it fixed my problem.
|
Ugh i hate the dealers, btw if i tell the dealer i want all my fluids flushed and to put to fluids in can they do that for me, and i mean ALL my fluids.
|
I actually took care of this the other day. I have 33k miles, and plenty of mods, but the dealer had no issues with taking both axles out, re-greasing/packing and re-installing. I have no sound coming from the rear now. Didn't take long at all.

I Found the culprit, fixed it myself :)

Was it your registration documents? :p

Ha! Worse, I forgot I also put my extra lug nuts under the mat, they fell into where the wheel was and it's all metal, it was rolling around:)
