Installed: Project Mu HC+ (front) and B-Force (rear) [Akebono]

As most of you know the install was stupid easy. I was able to do all four wheels (one wheel at a time) within an hour.

So far, I am pleased with the results. My car is a daily driver and will see some rare track time (maybe 2-3 times a year), so I bought these with the intention of having some piece of mind when i decide to show up to an autocross/track event, but at the same time being able to daily them without going crazy.

As far as the daily driving feel, the brakes have a noticeable increase in initial bite compared to the stock pads, as well as increased stopping power. My main complaint is the amount of assistance from EBD (electronic brake-force distribution), which may be due to me mix-matching the pads... maybe not. the amount of dust with the B-force is not noticeable (granted they're in the rear) but there is a high amount of dust from the HC+ pads (noticeable layer on the wheels after 150 mi of mixed highway and city driving).

Overall, I would highly recommend these pads for a daily replacement. I'll have an update on the track use after Nismo Fiesta (novice road-course driver).

Here's a picture of the new and old pads. I'm sure you guys can figure out which ones are which.

Just curious, what brought you to use the mixed set? And I hear you on the brake dust. I have a set of hawk HP+ pads that have worked fantastic for me but 10 miles with light braking makes it look like I've neglected my wheels for years.

Mostly due to short term availability. The coefficient of friction between the two pads is close enough to not affect daily driving.

Also, it is common practice to mid pads for track use to avoid "ice mode". You'll see a lot of members mixing carbotech compounds with the stronger of of them in the front.

I went B-force in the front and NS400 in the rear.
I'm very happy with the set-up!

UPDATE:

After running at nismo fiesta, I can verify that my brake setup will survive throughout the day. Very reliable stopping power and no fade.

That's good to hear. What Brand Type of Rotors are you using?

Stock akebono rotors. Those are pretty strong.
