I think that's done so that the car looks evened out when the driver is sitting in the car.

After the springs are broken in I think it sits real close to the same. I measured mine and its close to or less than a quarter inch difference. Its not noticeable to me and dont remember after the install how it was beforehand.
I just drove on them for about a week before the alignment (not sure how many miles). I was able to get back to factory specs on stock wheels without aftermarket parts. Now that I got new wheels it looks like ill need rear camber arms but not sure.

Here you go

kenchan 03-31-2014 09:49 AM

two part numers for the front springs? (left and right)

if so, then it could be that the manufacturer did that on purpose to compensate the driver weight.... not sure though since this car is sold worldwide. :ugh: some Z's are RHD..

kenchan 03-31-2014 09:50 AM

as comparison, my other car runs Prokits and left/right is within 2mm in height front and rear.

Pnoyz916 03-31-2014 10:29 AM

No label for left and right. Both the same just label for front n rear

yah, that's wat i thought.... in that case let the springs settle for maybe 200-300miles. it could be just that it needs to be broken in, or something wasn't installed correctly.

then take your car in for alignment.

besure to retorque your lugs.

Pnoyz916 03-31-2014 01:50 PM

Wats torque for lugs

One suggestion- with as much of a challenge as this spring install became, have a shop take a look at your handiwork and make sure everything has been done in a safe manner.

PLEASE take the car to someone who knows what they're doing before you have a major, major problem. You may have a minor issue. You may be putting yourself or others in danger. we don't know how you managed to even get those springs installed, so we can't tell you what you messed up in the process. Either find someone local to you who has done this job on a Z before, or take it to a shop.
