Xenon 370Z Quarter Window Scoop???
This should be here, not exterior.
Yes I said it!! Broke my side window replacing the quarter panel. its $120 to replace or I can get these. I'm thinking of running them with ducts to the diff cooler or rear brakes. Any idea on the brakes? Will it help much? PS, these are $150 everywhere. Why the hell is Z1 selling for $140 each?

Replacing the quarter panel???
Maybe to cool the diff, the rear brakes are the better part of useless.

Well the diffs under the car with a nice ramp up. I don't have a wind tunnel but it seems to work great as is. Not sure how much winds under there.

If you decide that maybe using the Xenon lower scoops that attach to the side skirts might be a better option for brake cooling, I have a new set I'll sell ya at a good price.

What about using that cavity as a spot to feed fresh air to your helmet. I don't know hot it gets in Ohio but in ct weather it's in parking lot or track. The humidity is horrible with no a/c and a vent into my hemet would be freakin awesome.

That's an idea. I wonder how much it'd be though having to turn back forward since the windows in the back. For the time though I do have a/c . I still think brakes are important. The rear must be somewhat important or ice mode wouldn't happen when you go with the same pads in the rear as the front.

Well, their rear brakes are massive, I can see the ducts being used for cooling the rear brakes

Realistically it's to cool the driver or something. Drift cars have the radiator or some cooling apparatus in the back

What it cools, I'm not 100% certain, but as stated above, I know that in drift cars, the same thing is done

Well in the pic in post 9 there is no radiator so youre probably right. Also in 7 post the trunk has a bunch of holes in the lid. Hmmm

If anyone has the balls to DIY that, it's TOTALLY you. (I believe they put oil coolers back there too)

What's mounted in the rear is often the diff cooler, tranny cooler, close to the rear is the oil tank for the dry sump, cooling system for the driver.
