Default Head almost hit steering wheel after braking!!

Okay now that I got your attention my brakes are super sensitive, when I barely touch them, and I mean barely, it breaks hard. Any thoughts or solutions or is that norm for a new owner(1wk) with a 40th manual w/ sport and touring to feel?

But no joke sometimes it jerks the heck out of my neck when breaking

You'll get used to driving the car.

It still happens when anyone who is not me attempts to drive my car

I have the sport package (with new front brakes and rotors) and it is super sensitive with braking. It took me awhile to get used to driving the car..and I came from a 350z. I thought that car had powerful brakes

Yeah occasionally I think I'm driving my wife's Santa Fe, and the same thing happens to me. I hardly use my brakes, mostly I downshift with SynchroRev Match (TM), in the turns. I do occasionally use them at red lights so that folks will see me sitting there.

I'm guessing you don't have a lot of experience driving or you would have a better idea of what "normal" braking feels like. The brakes on my '09 are pretty sensitive, but not what I would call slam-me-into-the-steering-wheel-more-than-once sensitive. You should get used to the brakes in a few days. If not, get a more experienced driver to give them a try and see what they think.

Well, first, I'd highly recommend wearing a seatbelt. It drastically reduces the "face vs steering wheel" incidents. Or worse.

Also, I think you should get used to it. The way I see it, it's better to have a car that stops on a dime, than having one that stops after it went through the car in front of you, and finally ended up wrapped around a pole.

That's it? I'm throwing numbers out but if I recall my 12 regal GS with brembos same size was like 112, a WRX like 113 with the worst ever, 106 STI, 106-109? Corvette. Guess its all pedal travel and feel that it feels so good.
