stillen sways...need end link opinions!

My car may see 1-2 track days a year. Hell, I'd get just the rear to save some cash if the fronts are not a necessity.

I've also made a decision to sell my SPC front camber arms(waiting to put on) and just go with SPL.

$340vs$170....

Those guys had the best price and was matched by another as well.

I'm still seriously contemplating getting just the rear end links alone.

Anyone just running the rears?

honestly if i was to install my stillen swaybar set (i have a brand new set in my parts bin) i would only install the front and leave the rear bar stock.

right now i only have the front whiteline installed. stock endlinks and all. car feels great. perfect match for stock suspension.

Yeah, I was just thinking to myself... I'm on stock suspension, always will be. I have Nismo S-Tune sways and I'm just going to change the front to Hotchkis...
Sooooooooooo, I really don't need endlinks do I?

Not really. If you break them, replace them. Don't worry about it until they let go.

Well, I have both stillen sways that are brand new and I'd like to utilize them both.

My suspension is not OEM however. I am using BC coils and I know that lowering the car a substantial amount and adding sway bars puts quite a bit of stress on the OEM end links.

I know that cutting corners isn't always the best thing, but if the front end links can handle the stress, I only see the need to purchase SPL rear end links.

I'm curious as to if anyone else has done the same.

i read hotchikis are waaay to stiff.

like they just welded up a bar, took it around for a spin to confirm no sway, and sell sell sell.

ive not read too much on the s-tune. wat are the stiffness vs stock on those?

and yah, endlinks usually break progressively (unlike them old wrx SNAP!

endlinks)... you will hear knocking noise over uneven roads at slow speeds like in parking lots.

the whiteline rear endlinks appeared to just break apart though looking at some of the posts.

The OE front links are beefy as hell. I can't imagine breaking one unless you chose to never grease the bushings.

if you're planning on using no stiffer than the middle setting on the front, i suppose you might be okay. it is about the same stiffness as my whiteline's soft setting. this is going by manufacturer % in stiffness, so it is still just a guess. just because you have 2 bars doesnt mean you need to use both of them.

im sure you have screws in your garage you're not using. are you going to just screw them in your car just because you have them? lol
