Anyone have any idea on how to prevent rust from building on on the brake rotors? Maybe a product out there that I can spray on the rotors to help protect it from water so rust doesn't build up?

Thanks
my car has no rust on the rotors?

keep the car inside the garage, control humidity if you can. rust on rotors is normal though.

Before I bought my house I had to keep my z outside for its first winter and I had only had a car cover over it with no major rusting other than the usual surface rust, so you could always try that.

OP, Nothing to worry about. I live in Hawaii and the humidity here is generally higher than the continental 48 and my rotors have rust on them the day after I wash the car or if driven in the rain. Always goes away after the next drive.

I hate when the rotors turn orange after a wash...but goes away quick

Just powder coat the rotors and match them to the calipers. You'd have one slick set of brakes.

Edit: Please don't powder coat your rotors.

Or the cat.

CAUTION!! do not use WD-40 or any other lube on your brakes! Hopefully you knew that was a joke!

Got 2 ways to prevent rust on brake rotors,1]cover the car,2]park indoor, but do not put oil or WD-40..risk your & others life.
