abs and traction loss light wont go off

so as you know it is snowing like hell in New Jersey right now and I am pulling out my car and my wheels are spinning and I'm trying to get out but when I stopped my ABS and my traction control lights are both on and they won't turn off no matter what I do what is going on

Your ABS and TC control lights are both on? :icon17:

Give it time? Same thing happens when my car gets off the dyno, both lights stay on for a little while but disappear like nothing.

Happened to me once too, within an hour it just shut off.

The PS thing is odd, but for the others, check brake fluid level (and also PS fluid level, i guess -- any whine when turning?)

If all fluids are good, check relevant fuses.

Usually I'd say check brake fluid, but since it's snowing, :iagree:
Your front wheels were probably stopped and your rears were spinning and your car sees a huge problem and leaves the lights on

(And grindkiezer, do you turn off your T/C when you dyno?)

I got on my throttle hard yesterday and my break light and traction control lights came on. After I got out of boost the break light went off but the traction control light and VDC light stayed on and I couldn't turn them off. I added some break fluid and they went off.

Did you get new tires recently?

Minsu 12-10-2013 07:11 PM

No im running stock tires from the day i got it.
So i got back and the ABS and the tiny car with swigglys are still on.
(Its not the vdc on/off one, it way brighter and its the icon right next to when you click vdc off)

So the options I have are.
Add Brake Fluid.
Pull Battery?
So after 8 hours its still on.
And no whining when i turn. The Stutter when turning the steering wheel is gone though.
Now its just the lights.
Do i go to dealer and get the lights checked out? Would it cost me anything? My car is under warranty.

DEpointfive0 12-10-2013 07:33 PM

^wtf?

Check the brake fluid first, then report back to us. Make sure it's AT the top
