Nope. Summer rubber. You need a set of dedicated wheels with snow tires. Hell, the OEM tires don't like cold, much less snow and ice.

I get issues with sliding and slipping (and lumpiness in the morning before warm up) here in Mid Florida in the "ahem" "Winter"? with my OE tires. Can't imagine driving with them ice cold and rock solid...! I'm looking to get All seasons next round just because they are more suited to the way I drive. I'm not into taking the on-ramp at max speed just below loss of control like some are.

Driving in the snow depends on what your definition of snow is. Unplowed roads with no salt....or salted slush...or black ice interspersed with melted slush...

Oh wow lol, ive been so busy with work and school the car thing has been blurred to me. Dangerous of me to think i had all seasons. Wow. Yea my road was unplowed at the time of me leaving but it was so damn slippery i was slipping while walking. And my car stutters as im moving and turning in first gear after my 3-4 minute warm up. sigh. thank God my car didnt move if i drove that too school i think i would be posting a "Finally Crashed my Car" Thread.

my guess is you had some snow or dirt logged up in the way of the wheel speed sensor

You're definitely lucky you didn't keep going!

Since it seems like you drive your Z year-round I'd look at buying winter wheels and tires asap! You can put together reasonably priced wheel/tire packages on Tire Rack.

Just buy a cheap set of wheels. You don't want to be dismounting and remounting tires all the time.

You will also be able to run narrower sizes because the dedicated winter wheels you buy will be smaller. Narrower tires do better in snow than wider ones. A lot of guys here will run 225 or 245 square winter setups.

My winter setup is the base model 18" Enkei wheels with 245/45/18 Michelin Alpin PA4 tires front and rear.
