When making a hard, lo speed left turn it feels as if the front right tire is scraping the pavement surface sideways rather than the tire rotating. Anyone encounter this?

Since it is cold, a performance tire may slide a little until the rubber gets up to temperature. Even down here in Georgia, on cold mornings my Bridgestones make more noise than normal, and can be skittish.

Wide tires + light car = tire scrub. Happens to me when it gets cold around here. As long as it only happens with the steering wheel at an extreme, it's normal.
