had my first alignment today on my nismo rear was out the most. they said this was as good as they could do.
Attachment 80099 ok that didn't work right |
I'm no expert but I made and installed a lockout toe/camber bolt kit in the rear. The OEM eccentric bolts can move when you're out having fun. This will keep happening over time. Might be worth the kit to not have to pay for alignments all the time.
Big money on camber arms but if you want a better feel and handling I'd buy them. I always shoot for -1 degree where the front will have more negative than the rear. The OEM numbers make zero sense. |
Umm, ken, I thought you are rather gentle on your car, and your car has less than 10k miles on it, no?
|
your right CV. did it more for check and tire wear. 57 miles from 9/3 to 11/20 I know it's sad. who said you have more time to do what you want when you retire.
|
Yes if you want to spend some $ I recommend SPL rear camber arms and their eccentric bolts. About how far did you lower it?
|
I didn't lower it. it settle some but i didn't think that much. maybe some SPL parts and springs will give me some thing to do over the winter or two tone satin gray ala 2014 nismo or.....
yeah I'm getting bored |

I just went to a metal store and got 12x2x1/4" t6061 aluminium plate for $0.75, and autozone for the 10.9 hardened bolts at $1.99 each. I believe I got 100mm and 90mm long. Each plate needs to be cut to 1.33" (doesn't have to be square, can be rectangle) and drill the hole in the middle of the 1.33". |
