I don't track my car and I want some brakes that'll fit my needs of city driving but idk which one I should go with. I know for sure to stay away from hawk pads cuz they're brutal on the rotors. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments regarding the posi-quiet pads? Thanks

from what i've read stock pads are the best for daily driving and last a long time.

Let's say I wanna take the car to the track one day and drive it hard. Will the stock pads hold up?
Another quick question, same scenario I take it to the track, but I have slotted and drilled rotors, will they crack after running them hard just once I'm asking cuz I wanna feel confident with what I buy is gonna hold up and not suck.

depends on the car. I preferred hawk ceramics on my C6, but on my wife's Z4, the centrics feel great. No experience with them on the Z, since I haven't had stock calipers on the car since shortly after I bought it.

for daily driving? yes. I'm assuming you have the sport package brakes? i wouldn't stop you from doing a big brake kit if you're so inclined though. to each his own.
remember that sticky street tires will probably be your best upgrade in terms of reducing stopping distances.

So the Z1 upgrade for sport package w/ slotted rotors, oem pads, ss lines, and motul 600 fluid and I'll be good? Or should I just upgrade the package to the two piece rotors?
