ride quality from rear camber arms
i did this combo with stock springs as i did not have time to do the springs this weekend. after i install my camber arms, took it to my local shop and did an alignment. after it was done, i took it out for a test drive and i noticed that i hear a lot more vibrations(road noise) and when i hit bumps or small dips on the freeway it sorta feels like i lose traction, almost like a hydroplane without the water. how's everyones ride quality with rear camber arms install? did something go wrong? is it normal? any input would be helpful

I noticed no change whatsoever with SPC arms. Maybe if you went with arms with spherical bushings it might change, but it sounds like something went wrong with the install and alignment.

I noticed this as well. Although I had my camber arms out on with the lowering springs and new end links with the Hotchkis sway at the stiffest setting. Rear end would jump when going over lane deviders or any other small bump. Car completely lost traction in the rain. Was literally scary to drive over 40mph as the rear was in a constant fishtail.
At the time I was on pretty worn and stretched Michelin pilot super sports. Changed out to Continental DWS all seasons with less stretch and the ride is perfect now. |

i have spc too. install was pretty easy, im pretty sure i install everything correctly. everything is pretty straight foward, 2 bolts for each camber arms and loosen 4 bolts total for rear sway bar. unless i am missing somthing here? i know i didnt put them on backwards lol. i will have to get this done before raining season starts here in socal cause it is kinda scary to drive right now

There's only so many things that could have gone wrong, so if it's not the alignment something's up with the arms.

Not sure if you found out the issue yet but I also had the same issue after my alignment. Turns out the just didn't do the job right. Perhaps the fixed your camber but your toe could still be way off. Just a few things to think about. Hope this helps a bit. But I also had the floaty hydroplaning feel. And that was the fix just take it somewhere else that may have a bit more experience with aftermarket suspension.

Yes positive. yeah i just compared it to the stock specs and it does looks like it is just right out of spec. with that little out of spec, would it cause all the issue im having to happen though? will, take a look at the camber arms, toe bolt again this weekend and take it in for another alignment. btw car drives straight, doesnt swerve to the right/left, so im assuming its has to be something with the toe
