otherwise my suspension is stock.

car's already put away for winter so will add more miles next season.
So a rear bar is not really a must have on the Z?

Recently switched to SPLs when I lowered the car. I would recommend making the switch now since you'll already have the car disassembled and it will be easy to replace. The stock ones will eventually fail and you'll have to replace them.
I've seen aftermarket fail too. Seems time will destroy them all.

Just to give the other side of the spectrum, I have stillen sways on my g37 coupe, with stock endlinks and KW v3's. I've done many track days with this setup and the stock endlinks are still ok. And I run the Stillen sways at full stiff F&R.

So perhaps it's just a wide distribution of strength and you hope to be lucky and fall on the strong side!

Do I need to install end links if my car isn't lowered and I install the hotchkis sway bars? Sorry if I sound stupid but I'm not familiar w/ this stuff at all.

Getting after market sway bars. If you're not going all out road racing & do other suspension work as well, I see no point of doing that. I bet if you took your stock front or your rear sway bar out, almost nobody would notice.

Just to have front and rear sway bars is good. Not important subject to me, just saying

Actually, aftermarket sways make a nice difference in daily driving as well. Body roll is reduced to almost nothing.

I would think & experienced it, that making turns harder/quicker to a point where you really want to test the car or have more fun, the tires & the rest of the car suspension parts would give up before the traction bars. I've held the stock traction/sway bars in my hands. To go beyond the limits of those heavy steel bars, you better change tires, wheels & most of the stock suspension parts. Having sway bars that stay together & everything else fall apart makes no sense.

Subject is not important to me, and I know modding is part of the fun, but after holding & checking the stock sway bars, I feel it's probably the strongest part of the under car.

Willing to listen/learn from someone that's involved & knows. "feels" "by the feel of my pants" are not my favorite answers.

You're incorrect. Swapping out sways is a very noticeable difference. You've held the sways from a 370 in your hands? They're not particularly thick. Do a quick search and see how many people have positive experiences changing out the stock sways.

Finding a cheap used set of sways is easy and you can sell them for about what you paid for them give it a shot. You'll be shocked how much of a difference they make.

I currently have stock suspension with just eibach sways and it does indeed make a very large difference in body roll and increased confidence in handling

Love them!

The stock ones will probably break at some point.

I don't remember offhand, but the Whitelines are pretty cheap as far as aftermarket ones go. Wait until the OEM ones break, then upgrade.

Default road course driving is not my specialty

I live in upstate N.Y. There are many lightly traveled country roads here. I used to, since I'm "special" "slightly touched in the head" do some very "spirited" driving.
The first thing I noticed when going fast on curvy roads was my car leaning to it's limits then the tires started to scream. For those not familiar with that scream, it's like when you're with a girl and, never mind.

My biggest fear was the tires losing their grip or the rubber/tire slipping off the wheel. I think stiff sway bars would be a must for drifting. I think if my car didn't lean so much, I probably would have drifted into a tree.

Now I'm a big believer in parts matching each other/working together. That post^^^^^^ you just posted helps me explain. Again, this is not my expertise, but I think just like a high performance camshafts can make you lose H.P. without matching H.D spring, & or upgraded exhaust, tune, gas, etc. etc. I think heavy duty sway bars need more stuff to be affective. Of course they may help in a right turn that you calls for 10mph & you make it at 15mph

I'm open to listen & learn from you and more from people with road track experience.

Stick with the stock end links for now. Eyeball them any time you're under the car.
