Default Aftermarket sway bars, stock endlinks?

Hi,

Gathering all that I need to redo suspension and minor brake mods over the winter. Should be receiving both front and rear Whiteline sways in the next few days. For those of you running aftermarket swaybars, are you using the stock endlinks or aftermarket? Checked out SPL's links and a little pricey at the $410 mark.

Or I'd be up for other alternatives, not planning on tracking the car, but ya never know when a little spirited driving may come into play.

TIA!!!!

You will definitely need end links if your car is lowered. Your stock end links will fail under the load of the after market sway bars. Spl is cool..

Car will be lowered, maybe not to the extreme, but this is the look that always seems to catch my attention when looking thru albums. Already have SPL's front and rear camber arms, along with Fortune 500 coilover setup. Why I am even questioning using the stock links after what I already have in it to put on in beyond me. I'll take all input though!!! This is not a DD, but do plan on driving the car frequently when weather permits.

I got the Hotchkis sway bars, front and rear. Just installed the SPL end links. when I adjusted the end links. I could feel about an 1/8" of play in the stock links.

I ran Hotchkis sways with stock endlinks for about 1 year before the stock rear ones broke - rear sway was set at loosest setting. Not only did the endlink break, the nut sheared off the bolt on the passenger side.

So I ended up running with the sway only connected to the driver's side for quite a long time (basically no sway bar in the rear).

Recently switched to SPLs when I lowered the car. I would recommend making the switch now since you'll already have the car disassembled and it will be easy to replace. The stock ones will eventually fail and you'll have to replace them.

Agreed if you are going to have the car apart anyways, you might as well install them! SPL is the way to go
