Default Need Help: Lower control arms and stabilizer

Well for starters my car is a 2011 and for almost a week now ive been puzzled where the noise is coming from. Whenever i make a turn or hit a slight bump there will be a creaking noise coming from the suspension.

i took it to a mechanic yesterday and said it could be a sway bar issue or something to do with suspension.

today i took it to another mechanic and he lifted up the car and said my lower control arms need replacing because its leaking... and that i need to replace my worn out stabilizers.

is there any truth to this? or anyone with an opinion to chime in? thanks guys

i just never had this problem before...

Will

Most all lower control arms have solid pressed in bushings and are not fluid filled, engine mounts are but that is a different story.

Maybe, but this is going to sound dumb but nothing is loose at all, all it has to do is shift a little bit and you will hear the noise.

What I would do is set it up on jack stands remove the front 2 tires and tighten all the suspension bolts and the top strut nuts, and top control arms also.

using thing picture as reference, the part with the 3 red boxes (1,2,3) is the translink a.k.a. lower arm. all bushings in this arm are NOT solid bushings. 2 and 3 are rubber and 1 maybe rubber with filling (im not too sure but it definitely seem so).

OPs first picture is a picture of this translink from below

Hate to bring this back from the dead:

My car has about 6k miles on it, and just about a week ago, I noticed this crunching sound on the drivers side front area by the tire.

It seems it could be control arm/sway bar/bushing related. It made a nice POP sound today when reversing, and then going back into drive while backing out of a parking spot. My old lexus sc300 did this at 108k miles, but those are notorious for bad lower control arms. I'm surprised this is happening already with such low miles.

Is this common after break in?

Also, it happens in the morning usually when I hit that first speed bump just on the drivers side 100% of the time...
