Base model with akebono upgrade. Which ss lines?
So I've got a base 370 with the akebono BBk. My question is what would be the best ss lines to go with? Thank you for any help/suggestions.
|
Best choice would be none... it's $200 that you'll not get a return on.
Upgrade to Motul RBF600 fluid and you'll be ready to go  |
I've got a set of Z1 lines. They look great, but I haven't put them on yet. Just make sure they're coated, and not just bare SS.
I'm not getting into the "Are SS lines worth it" debate. I've used them on many cars, and always had a firmer pedal afterward. Pedal feel is all you'll get out of the deal, but it's worth it to me. |
Thank you guys for the input. I appreciate it.

Exactly the post I was searching for. I'm going for my first A-X event and I'm trying to figure out which SS lines for my Akebono brakes (on 2013 model),
I've been looking at Goodridge (I guess too expensive for my case), Z1 and these ZSpeed's look interesting too as they are coated. OP, which ones did you go for? |
I went with the premium z1

Thank you guys for your help and input

Thanks for the info, apparently also ZSpeed have them for the 2013.
Update: ok for future reference I pulled the trigger on the ZSpeed ones :) |
