Hey Folks,

I've been putting this list together as much as possible.

WE have a lot of NEW and existing members who ask about lowering springs, And so I hope this will help since this will be primarily for spec comparison.

I need for folks to let me know what more is available with specs of course so I could include them to the list as this will be stickied for easy reference.

Question, I always thought mounting lowering springs on stock shocks will blow the stock shocks prematurely. Is this the case with the stock 370z shocks?

There is a limit to how much drop the stocks will take, and the more aggressive the drop? The higher chances of premature wear or blowout.

The Swifts are specifically designed to work with your oem struts so they won't put much more stress than oem spring. I've had an og member telling me he is still running on his oe shocks 2 years after the swift installed, even with the occasional hard driving on the track. About 90% of the owners here use Swift spring, and for good reason.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'll probably get the swift springs but I'll still probably get some Tokico or KYB shocks just to be safe if I don't get coilovers.

Tein springs were developed to use the OEM struts as well. We should put up the stock springs as well.

H&R Does not publish spring rates and explains it here.

H&R Special Springs, LP Spring Rate

Also, it is recommended to swap out oem shocks when installing lowering springs.

Yes.

Remember that the more of a drop the shorter the shock life when it comes to lowering springs.
