Brake pads for AP racing

Got them on yesterday, thanks to my friend working at an automotive school. I haven't had much time to really beat on them, but here's what I think so far:

Got them on yesterday, thanks to my friend working at an automotive school.

I haven't had much time to really beat on them, but here's what I think so far:

The bite is much greater. It took a couple drives to get used to it, but when the pads are warmed up, they feel twice as aggressive as stock. I'd only need half as much pressure to get the same braking feel.
It's much easier to brake hard now. I don't have any fears about braking later and harder just because it requires so little effort. Pedal feel is very linear and the pads seem to activate a little earlier. I used to have a little travel before I felt braking with stock pads.

I'll be taking these on a higher speed backroad today instead of the small windy one I took them on yesterday.

There was a TINY bit of noise with braking right after I my car back. Not nearly as loud as brake squeal, just a faint high pitched whine a couple times. Later in the day, this noise was gone, so I guess it was just part of the bedding in.

After the first day, dust was all over my wheels. I believe this was all from the bed in process, but I'm not totally sure, since this is the first time I've changed to more aggressive pads on any car. I'll post bad on how the dusting is after today. But the dust wiped off without any problem, it just made my wheels look like gunmetal for a while.

Nice update

I ended up getting ds3000

On the side note, i can bare the noise from the brakes which was surprisingly quiet than I thought. However, it squeaks even when not braking. Any idea? I doubt the. Alipers are seized, but what do you guys think?

New pads are sometimes a bit tight until you wear them down a little. You should probably do that pretty soon instead of letting them drag cold forever.
