Just check the pics. You need a female large 3/4 nut on the body where the hard line screws into just like the factory which I got and that uses a retaining clip. Then that runs to a block which I got like factory. Then you need another female large 3/4 nut with retaining clip at the caliper location. I got a second block with a male end going into the block. Can I make it work? Sure. I'd have to screw the metal hard line coming from the calipers to the block. But ill have a block zip tied to nothing really since there is no mounting location. The caliper hose is just like the body hose. Two large females with 3/4th nuts

That brass block is intended to be bolted to the spindle and the spindle hardline gets screwed into it or the brass block goes on the chassis and the hardline there gets screwed into the block.
Either way there's a female connection at both ends, one just happens to be inside a brass block, which is intended to give you a strong, mountable way to screw the line in...
I'm really lost on how you can't use these lines, can someone explain??? Preferably with visual aids? lol

Where do you see a spindle off the caliper location? It's a female hose with a retaining clips like the body has. There is a female end on both sides but not the correct kind. You wouldn't hook the brass block to the male hard line off the body would you and just zip tie the block where ever you could and throw away the retaining clip would you?
Needed...large female line, brass block with 45* bend hose, large female line.
Got...large female line, brass block with 45* bend hose, male line going to brass block.

The blocks are heavy? Large female with retaining clip is easier/lighter

I don't know. Go check your lines and tell me if you see a brass block bolted to your caliper. If you do then no I didn't get the correct lines because they aren't made yet. Z1 is working on it. Since I have 14x1.25" rotors and 4 piston calipers, srev, spoiler, euro shocks, LSD, etc I'm pretty sure I have a sport. I'm not surprised of the change. Happens a lot on cars.

I don't have a base model, but when I look @ the config in the FSM for the base brakes, it looks exactly like what appears in his photo...

Oh you know what, I lied.
In the FSM, it looks like the spindle hard line terminates in an aluminum block on the pre-2013's and it instead butts into a normal connector on the 2013's.
I think the Z1 kit would still work, you might need to figure out a way to securely mount the block, that's all. Either way Z1 will have to make an adjustment to their kit if they want to maintain true 'bolt on' status.

Zip tie or any other means is not something anyone should do with a brake line! The mounts are there for a reason whether retaining clip or block. Lol we've repeated ourselves a enough haha. I'm sure from the pics you understand now. Z1 told me today his brake builder will have my set in 2-3 weeks. I'm hoping for a little discount of something for the trouble
