Toe bolt install question

Just a quick question for clarification after having ordered my SPC toe bolts and adjustable camber arm from Stillen. Read through the DIY, and it's a quick and easy mod. No issues there. Only after ordering and checking the order after the fact online did I notice that the toe bolt "kit" shows that it's only for "one wheel", and that you need two kits to complete the install. I checked the same "kit" through Z1, and they say the same thing. Now, from what I'm reading through them, they seem to indicate that you are expected to install toe bolts in both sides of the spring perch.

The DIY seems clear that the only side getting the toe bolt installed is the inside connection of the spring perch, both driver and passenger sides of course. I can't see any need to install four toe bolts, especially if I'm installing the adjustable camber rods as well.

Am I missing something here? I sure hope the "kit" doesn't come with a single toe bolt. $29.00 for a single bolt would be crap, especially when the catalog picture shows two bolts.....

You need a total of two toe bolts that connect thru the bolt hole on the inner spring perch location. The elongated toe hole on the sub frame will need to be dremeled out (wider towards the diff.) in order to reach maximum adjustment toe with a lowering kit.

wat wheeeee said.

there's a diy for this somewhere, check it out. :)

Thanks for the responses, but as I stated, I did read the DIY, and I have no issues with that. It's an easy mod, elongation of the hole and all. I'm just a bit confused because it seems the vendors are trying to sell me two bolt kits, and I'm trying to figure out if a "kit" is one or two bolts. As the DIY only indicates having to install two bolts (one on each inner spring perch pivot point).

Sorry if my question isn't clear. Can't think of how to say it any differently.

Seems like you need to PM the vendor....

op- is this wat you're referring to?

SPC Rear Camber Cam Bolts (370Z / G37)

if so, it just says one set for toe, one set for camber. since you're getting adjustable camber arms from stillen, this means you only need one set for the toe.

SPC usually comes in pairs (2pcs per box). :)

One "kit" should come with two bolts (with washers and nuts, etc) and that will be all you need for proper toe correction.

yah, but the ad says it requires 2 sets if using stock arms. which was confusing the op.

he's using stillen camber arms so only need one set of SPC toe bolts.

Thanks all, that pretty much cleared it up. I was 99% sure it was only one bolt per side.
