Just a quick question for clarification after having ordered my SPC toe bolts and adjustable camber arm from Stillen. Read through the DIY, and it's a quick and easy mod. No issues there. Only after ordering and checking the order after the fact online did I notice that the toe bolt "kit" shows that it's only for "one wheel", and that you need two kits to complete the install. I checked the same "kit" through Z1, and they say the same thing. Now, from what I'm reading through them, they seem to indicate that you are expected to install toe bolts in both sides of the spring perch.
The DIY seems clear that the only side getting the toe bolt installed is the inside connection of the spring perch, both driver and passenger sides of course. I can't see any need to install four toe bolts, especially if I'm installing the adjustable camber rods as well. Am I missing something here? I sure hope the "kit" doesn't come with a single toe bolt. $29.00 for a single bolt would be crap, especially when the catalog picture shows two bolts..... |
