Rear clunking sound after sway bars and rear links
Hi guys,
I just got installed EIBACH front & rear sway bars and also installed rear Whiteline adjustable links. The Z hanldes amazingly better BUT when I'm rolling at very low speeds (even without road imperfections) I'm hearing an intermittent clunking sound from both sides on the rear. Any input on what this could be to get it checked..?? Or is this normal now..?? Thank you in advance!

Most likely something isn't tight enough.

I think I have the same thing going on make sure that your exhaust isn't hitting the sway bats at idle

Does it sound metallic? My guess would be the end links have slop somewhere. Get under there with a dead blow hammer and knock on it slightly. Check for interferences and rub marks like OTW mentioned with any other nearby surface.
If there is no slop detectable check the bushings too...they could be over clamping the bar and binding, maybe?? Did you grease the bushings? |
