Can you put nismo sways and springs on 370z 40th?
Will they fit? Will my handling be slightly better?

Yes, all parts are interchangeable.
Honestly, Nismo springs are worth their weight in... Almost nothing actually... The struts are OK, but your suspension will be much, MUCH harder... And cornering will be better... Now, sway bar... It's not definite that the stock Nismo sway is any stiffer... The ones Z1 sells ARE stiffer... Not by much, good for a DD, it's what I have |
Are the Nismo springs lower? And are they better than the touring springs?

The Nismo sway bars will make a change in handling, I have a completely stock Z with sport package, the front always felt like it was pushing in a hard fast turn.
I caught the sale at Z-1 they had at the beginning of the year for the Nismo bars which Z-1 claimed they were Nismo Japan part not off the factory build. After the change there was a noticeable different. They are good street upgrade that is factory tuned to the car, but lack the adjustably if you what to seriously track the car. |

The NISMO O.E. springs & shocks are different from NISMO S Tune .Several people have reported issues off no drop or slight increase in ride height. With the O.E. setup.Please see attachments for a comparison off stock vs. NISMO S Tune springs and swaybars. The info for stock spring rate is from Eibach where it is compared to their Pro Kit.

Also sourced from Eibach this is a comparison of O. E. Nismo Vs. their Pro Kit for Nismo edition. As can be seen from all the various info apparently the S-Tune springs are very slightly softer than O. E. Nismo. I've never seen any damper rates given anywhere O.E. base or O,E. Nismo.

Unless you're finding this Nismo stuff at a great price, the aftermarket alternatives usually offer more of an upgrade for less money.

thought i posted this earlier, but the nismo springs raise the front more than the base, doesn't it?
ask tjblazer. he did a full conversion from base to nismo. and i think he threw out the nismo springs and used swift springs instead. |

The NISMO S-tuned springs/shocks drop the car 0.5" I know, as that is the drop I got when I replaced my touring springs/shocks. Can't talk the sways as I have Hotchkis front and rear. Ride is a little stiffer, but not kidney shattering (unless the road is messed up, then I change lanes). It handles great on the track, and street.
