Which adhesive do you guys recommend for brake covers?

Not that this is going to sway your decision in anyway since you're the type of person who wants brake covers, but, they're also dangerous because they keep in excess

Not that this is going to sway your decision in anyway since you're the type of person who wants brake covers, but, they're also dangerous because they keep in excess heat which means it's possible that the next time you need your brakes they won't be there for you. Just saying....

It's also possible we're all getting trolled. lol

Lol everyone in the Houston area loves colored brake covers so I don't understand where all of this hate comes from but wow, it's surprising. I guess I just wasn't expecting this. Thanks for the ones that helped! I finally noticed how big of trolls some of you guys are hahaha but no hard feelings. Hope no one was offended.

In Internet slang, a troll (pron.: /ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is someone who posts inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[3] The noun troll may also refer to the provocative message itself

The same people who like stick-on fender vents and chrome trim? Because people LOVE that stuff in Baltimore, so it must be the hottness!

We were just trying to help you NOT rice your nicer car out, but its your money. Rice away.

Also, you don't know what troll means, and you joined last month, so how can you "finally" ANYTHING concerning this board?

But I mean how likely are they to melt? I bought high quality covers that we're guranteed not to melt. Obviously no guarantee is a guarantee but I don't take my car to tracks. It's just a daily driver that I'm working on as a visual project.

If you want it go for it , they are meerly trying to convince you to do it right IE using the correct caliper paints/powdercoating that can withstand the heat of the brakes...a stick on will either melt...or fly off..and make a hazard/damage your car...its about the same as the other thread with hood scoops...but to each his own.

PS....a cover melting into your brakes could potentially cost you 3x as much as doing it the right way
