Default Brake pads

Just curious,
I am getting the Z1 brake upgrade package for my sport package. And I was just wondering about the pads. Out of the options. Is it worth paying the extra money for the hawk hps or the hawk hp ceramic or the plus? It comes with the centric posi quiet pads.

Side note. I don't track or anything. It is just my daily driver but I like to have fun every once and a while.

For a DD the Posi-Quiets will be fine. I got them with my Z1 upgrade and they've held up to everything I've thrown at them. Quick stop braking, high speed deceleration, spirited cruises, no fading or excessive dust. In fact, they are very low dusting pads.

The only consideration, and it doesn't even impact you based on location, is when it is Really cold out, they will squeal for the first hundred braking feet or so till you get them warmed up. Other than that, zero complaints.

I'm getting ready to replace them though with Ferodo DS2500 pads for more cruises and tracking.

The hawk performance ceramin, hps and centric posiquiets will perform pretty much the same. Although I really wouldnt recommend them for this car, if you're worried about price/noise/dust, id say atleast get the stoptech street performance compound since they're not all that much more, dont dust over excessively and are quiet.
