Default Brake ducts for Amuse?

For people with Amuse bumpers, has anyone done any brake ducting? I think the possibility of adding additional brake coolings makes stock, nismo, and stillen a lot more appealing than otherwise, since our brakes need as much help as they can get.

I found these ducts that kinda look like they could match those slits on the sides of the amuse front.

Or has anyone looked into brake ducts that draw air in from under the car?
Maybe something like this?

I love the Amuse front and the built in undertray is a huge plus to me. The loss of easy brake ducting is a real shame. What do you guys think?

In my brief experience working on a car with the Amuse front bumper, I'd have to say that those slits are far too close to the outsides of the car to be effective at ducting air to the brakes. The angles would be too sharp, you'd lose a lot of air velocity, since those openings aren't that big anyway.

That main opening however is huge. You could simply add NACA ducts or just open holes to the side shields in the area forward of the radiator and duct to the brakes that way, since there will be a high pressure zone created ahead of the radiator at speed.

That's probably how I would do it.

Alternatively, you could just put some scoops inside the bumper opening in the positions indicated on this photo. Wouldn't even impede flow to the radiator(s).

That method actually would look sick as well.. some nasty looking carbon fiber scoops inside the opening to the left and right of the radiator... mmm sexy.

Maybe I'll have to get the Amuse bumper after all and fabricate the scoops myself!

Not that I know of.

A notable brake duct solution I saw on here a while back was to put NACA ducts in the Z1 plate and use those to cool the brakes. Could be possible to do the same to that front diffuser area on the amuse bumper.

It's hard with the amuse since it doesn't have the fangs to attatch the ends to. I bed you could fab a custom bracket to mount to the very ends of the Amuse bumper's "mouth"

Yeah possibly. I did see there was a guy who cut out holes in the under shroud for a custom mount there for the brake ducts that way he could still run innercooler pipping etc and them not be in the way. But I cannot for the life of me find that thread again

Ahh yes that's the thread I was talking about!! But I'm not sure if it will force air into the ducts being on the undertray like that anyone know the physics behinds that and if it will still force as much air through the tubes?

Here's the dilemma I'm having is the underside of the amuse bumper is curved and you need 11" of flat space to mount the NACA ducts to and you need 4" of clearance for just the piece above that. Not sure if its going to work.

Anyone found a solution? what about like a deflector plate around the control arms instead of ducts
