Stainless steel brake lines
I'm upgrading my OEM brake lines to stainless steel brake lines. I cant decide between Z1 SS brake lines and Goodridge Gstop Stainless Steel Brakeline (carries by Stillen). I'm getting drilled/slotted front rotors and brake pads from Stillen and not sure if I should get the brake lines too. The Z1 SS brake lines are a little cheaper. What are the differences?
Does anybody have experience with different brake lines for track? Goodridge Gstop Stainless Steel Brakeline Kits | STILLEN Z1 370Z/G37 Premium Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit |
Can't speak for Stillen or which is better, but I have the Z1 lines installed. They fit nicely and work fine.

I've used Goodridge in the past. No complaints there. I've got a set of Z1 lines in the garage waiting to be installed. Whatever brand you buy, make sure the lines are coated. Bare braided SS will chew through anything it rubs against in a hurry.

I also had Mike the Powdercoater do a set of calipers for me at the same time. HIGHLY recommended. Several of us from Houston have the same set-up. If you are going to Nismo Fiesta, you can see first hand. |
