Adding brake fluid... full flush only?

So I feel my brake fluid is low.

Under heavy acceleration the Brake light comes on and sometimes stays on long enough to disable traction control... which is a sign that under the G's of acceleration the level scoops back far enough against one wall to seem "empty" to the computer. :shakes head:

Bough this car used at 22k miles, so I am thinking of topping off the fluid however im not sure if it's OK to mix, considering i can never be 100% sure of what fluid the previous owner before me used...

Is it ok to top off with any Z compatible fluid, or is flushing anew a must?

Thanks for the input guys

Just add a little bit. Your pads are wearing down, causing the fluid to sink low. Don't overfill

22k isn't a bad time to do a flush either. You're supposed to do it at least every 2 years anyway. Although, I've gone way longer with low-performance vehicles.

Yep. You can just top it off with any decent dot4.
I would flush it when you get the chance though. It's cheap and can't hurt.

Also, This is the bomb if you don't have a helper. I prefer using this as opposed to two people now honestly. 15 minutes, at most, and I'm done.
