installing lowering springs, holes don't match up.

Is there an easy way to do this? I am putting on swifts on my Nismo and if the top holes match up the bottom strut bolt doesn't. Any tips?

Can you take a picture, may be a simple fix. :tiphat:

I take it the sway bar is disconnected and the upper A-Arm is disconnected and your trying to slide the front strut into position but the 3 upper holes are not matching up.

My recommendation is to connect the lower strut bolt, and grab the upper with both hands and put everything you have into spinning it so the bolts match. Then reattach the upper strut and reattach the upper A-Arm bolts.

Hope this helps.. Picture would help!

attach the upper three first, then use a big *** screwdriver through the bottom mount and rotate it.

Not swifts, but it should be useful.

I was using that guide, but it didn't really say much about the holes lining up...

For anyone in the future that gets stuck on this, make sure ONE of the studs that stick through into the engine bay is lined up with the hole at the bottom of the strut. That worked for me for both sides after take the spring on and off like 10 times.
