The topic is called "what to look for and why" Most of what was previously stated was about the quality of dampers, the price and which company. In the original question of type of driving, i'm not sure that was covered fully either. Very few people, if at all, discussed how the springs come into play, how they effect the overall suspension dynamics and geometry. I'm not trying to be a smarta$$. I just want people to be sure on what they are buying instead of marketing BS that has plagued the aftermarket industry for years. I'm coming from the BMW and VW scene and the information and vagueness i found in those forums were equally non-informative. Why wouldn't this information be important on a stick'ied thread appose to some random question? I realize this is several years old, but these cars are still being sold and people are still heavily modifying them. |
