20" and H&R Springs
Anyone out there with 20" wheels lowered on H&R springs? I'd love to here your reviews and see some pics! Mostly wondering if you have any rubbing issues, what offsets you're running and if you're able to return the car back to stock camber.
|
kinda depends on the drop, and H&R are an agressive drop.Running H&R and hankooks 275/35/19 fronts and 295/35/19 rears with no rubbing but its close. A wider tire with 20s and spacers might not clear.
|
I'm on H&Rs now. I had 19" all summer just wondering if I can make 20" work.

when i was considering 20s. i called H&R to get some insight but they were a little vague telling me about tire size and measurements i needed to take. hope someone chimes in with that set up.

Check out my setup, it's in my journal :)

Im running 20x11.5 - 305/25R20 and 20x9.5 -255/30R20
Front is +22 and rear is +16, they fit flush. h&r springs, i cut off a half inch off the back spring mount, made the car more level. at this time i hadnt modded the rear spring mount, i found the rear to sit a little to high. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...psfb7d3364.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps109555c8.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps01fccf91.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...psa63ff8c4.jpg |

You wont rub at all, My front wheel could use about 4-5 mm more, so +15 would be dead on, atleast i think. For the rears +10 would be just about be spot on!
I have no rubing what so ever, My camber is -2.5 in the rear and -2.3 right Front and-1.9 left front, I was able to adjust it to -2.5 in the rear with the stock camber arms and i got my toe dead on aswell! The front wasnt touched, as i dont have adjsutable upper control arms. Wiggins, Go 305/25R20 in the rear. If i was gonna do it all over again, i woulda went 275/30r20 in the front to keep it closer to stock stagger, but not sure how itll fit. but go 30525r20, Little wider in the rear and itll look better. |

Not a probelm bud!
As for more pictures, my cars in storage until april/may we have about 3 feet of snow lol and its -30 Degrees here. she doesnt like this weather much lol! But as soon as i pull her out (looking forward to that) i can get you some pictures! |
what if i went 305/30/20 in the back... think i would have any issues?
|
Well you could, but then the front would be a 35/r20, with the h&r's you dont have room for the 255/35r20. atleast on my car i know the 35 series wouldnt work well.
and i wouldnt run 255/30r20 and 305/30r20, ur Overall Dia. is gonna be off. |

Actually I don't have a lot, looks like it tho in that dude shot. There's some but not much
|
kind of relies on the fall, and H&R are an aggressive fall.Running H&R and HANKOOKS 279/38/19 methodologies and 295/35/19 raises with no massaging but its near. A broader wheel with 20s and spacers might not obvious. . . . . .

255/35/20x9" +20off front.
285/30/20x10.5" +25off rear. |
Well I started this thread, so I'll post the results of my decision. Went with 20x9.5 +15 / 20x10.5 +10 offset and 255/30/20 in the front and 305/25/20 in the back. Fit is perfect!!!
