Sounds like your one of your ABS sensors failed.

Nope. Check and fill your brake fluid. That will fix it.

How to check for brake sensors, and brake fluid is the first thing I looked at.

I had this problem and it was dude to have air in my brake line which triggered the light to come home. send the car to nissan and tell them it will be under warrenty

Is it up to the MAX line? Max really == min for brake fluid in the Z.

zguynate 10-16-2012 12:23 PM

Yeah it's either your brake fluid or an ABS sensor has gone bad. My bet is fluid. Check the level and make sure.

I too fixed this issue by topping off my brake fluid.

How many miles on the current brake pads? Have they ever been changed? It sounds like the pads are worn, the fluid chamber is low to compensate and the traction and slip lights are coming on....

nabenson 10-22-2012 05:35 PM

I agree - it is most likely your brakes. Pop your hood and check your fluid level, it is probably low. I have this happen to me pretty often. I track the car and go through a set of pads every few months. This is how I know they need to be changed ASAP.

You MUST get them checked, if they are worn this low you are putting yourself in danger of a brake failure.

The pads are like new I could see them, air is the only option left I guess because There's enough oil to the max so ill do that myself and he back with updates,

The car has 32k
