As far as the dust boots are concerned, Stillen/Brake Pros gears all their kits towards street driving. There are many other better Rotors and Calipers to choose from while still maintaining similar pricing. |

If you read closely....
"Front caliper is a 6 piston monobloc machined from a single piece forging. Rear caliper is a 4 piston monobloc which combined offers a more positive, responsive pedal as a result of improved caliper and system stiffness." Its a kit with forged monoblock front and rear calipers, that's why its so expensive. They do make monoblock calipers that are cast and machined as I had on my B6 S4 Audi. Any kit with real monoblock forged calipers is going to cost a lot, be it AP. Brembo, or Stpotech. But as OP said, lets keep this what he offers and Its AP products. If I decide to go Alcon I'll find a vendor someplace else. |

The primary AP Rushing kit from Stillen is a nice beginning, but the top side caliper they provide is a street/track style with dirt footwear that quickly get crispified after the first monitor day. There's only a few people operating a complete monitor car though so I'm not sure how successful a complete monitor installation would be with regards to developing new bracketry etc.

DH586 Titanium Brake Shims for AP Racing CP7040 Caliper [TS-T-DH0586] : Hard Brakes - Titanium Brake Backing Plates, Brake Shims, Brake Heat Shields Also, English lesson for the day. Although Track and Monitor are synonyms under one definition, they are not in this particular usage. I suspect that you used an auto-translator and those easily get tripped up by words like 'boot' and 'track'. I found the translation from 'dust boot' to 'dirty footwear' particularly funny

For me, it doesn't matter.

1) Rusty (Front+Rear, Possible Full Kit) J-Hook/Straight Grooved
2) BlkNismo (Front+Rear) Straight Grooved 3) takjak2 (Front) ? 4) DCNISMO (Front+Rear) (J-Hook) 5) ChrisSlicks (Comp Calipers) 6) MD-370Z (Full Kit) I suppose the last question I need to know before putting all this stuff together, becoming a paid advertiser and giving these kits to you guys is this...When designed the rotors do you want full float or partial float like Brembo, Stoptech etc. Full float WILL rattle at low speeds like driving through a neighborhood or even on the street when the rotors are not up to temp I can take a video today to show you how much they rattle and what kinds of clicking noises you would hear.
