Broken strut mount bolt(insulator assembly)
 

I broke one of the three mounting bolts on the front strut insulator assembly. A new assembly is $70+ so I'm wondering if just the bolt is replaceable.

I was reading about it on another forum and the were saying u could get a matched bolt at a body shop or possibly a parts store. The guy then said stop by a welding shop and have them tack it then good to go. This was not on a Nissan btw

you can find some used stock struts for less than that in the for sale forum. i got 2 front top hats for FREE. unfortunately...both sets of mine are in used

I took top hat off the strut and it looks like way too much work to get the bolt out; especially without knowing if I can find a matched replacement. I ordered a new assembly for half of retail and I'm just hoping it will get here before the weekend. Lessen learned.

Wtb bolt etc... or even the for sale parts area in here ..you might get the part dirt cheap and some can overnight it for you
