Default NISMO Brace Kit Questions

Hello!

I have some questions about the NISMO Brace Kit (pictured below).

1) I read in a post where the front brace (shown below) might have clearance issues with NISMO cars since they have a metal air dam, but I couldn't find anything definitive or if anything can be done to make it work. Anyone have any pics or information as to fitment on a NISMO?

2) For the inside brace I read that since you can no longer use the foam piece that fills in the hole in the trunk, you now have to install a new panel (shown below).

Does this panel come with the kit? If not, does anyone know where I can get the one pictured above?

3) Any information or pictures of this kit installed on a NISMO would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure there are no fit and/or finish issues with this kit. And I don't want to have to "modify" or "trim" anything to install it. Everything I have found so far is for non-NISMO cars.

Thanks!

The replacement panel came with my kit. The front went on....but yes, you will need to trim the piece a little. The service tech at the dealership took care of mine...and he didnt even need to remove the bumper.

Sweet! May I ask how much they charged you to install the parts?

Thanks for the info!

Glad to see my picutures are still of use. Removal of the fascia is not needed in hindsight, but it made taking the pictures MUCH easier.

Yes thank you!

Does the panel for the trunk come with your kit?

Any chance of some sort of instructions in English (or even Spanish )?

Thanks!

The instructions are all in Japanese. Though...for the most part, the pieces are all individually wrapped and the bolts and connectors can be installed by pictorial diagrams. Most fit only one way.

The kit that Dustin sells is the OEM one so I am sure that it does come with the panel. Its an actual part of the kit, not an add on.

Each dealership will/might charge a different cost to do it, so I cant judge on the costs per se. It was under 150 though I believe to install the front and under chassis brace.

Use locktite on the interior one though. Getting back to it after install would be a pain in the butt.

Thank you very much! If it comes with diagrams it sounds like it should be something that I can handle myself with only the bottom piece requiring a lift to get to. I really just need to see where they go and I should be able to figure out the rest. Thanks for the tip on the Loctite!

I'm thinking about getting this same kit for my NISMO as well. Only question I have is if it is possible to install the mid piece (black and red NISMO bar) without removing the two black plastic parts in the trunk? I appreciate it!

I ended up going with the 3-piece GT Spec chassis kit. I really like it.
