That is your brake fluid weeping. Make sure your valves are tight. As for cleaning them, probably some extensive work...I'd ask Mike the powder coater. He cleans and preps then regularly...
This happens at the track regularly btw. Sent from my Galaxy S3

thats permanent staining, nothing you can do other than complete repaint/powdercoat. Are you tracking the car?

Not tracking the car... It hasn't leaked that I have seen. Maybe before I bought the car... Any chance buffing them will help at all or getting powdercoated my only option.

you can try some buffing compound, but I don't think it will do anything for you. You can also try to get it warrantied at your dealership (long shot)

What did you wash the wheels with? Some of the washs out there will stain if you don't rinse it good.

What do you think the odds of the dealership covering this under warranty are?

Ask your seller if he ever pushed the brakes hard, or have you pushed them pretty hard yourself?

My theory is that when the brakes get hot, the caliper expands slightly and allows just a trace of fluid to leak out around the threads. On the track, I got the stock calipers hot enough to melt the powdercoat on my wheels and they can even get fairly hot with aggressive street or mountain driving.
I get this even on my stoptechs, but they are anodized, so it doesn't stain them.

Anyone care to give me a clue how likely it is the dealer would cover this? They just recently replaced a broken gas door lock mechanism that was broken when I bought it, but they did it under warranty without asking any questions so maybe this caliper thing isn't too far off?
