If you intend to produce these please add harness mounting hoops to it. Robi Spec produced a very similiar bar and a group buy is going on right now but there is no harness hoops so the harness is looped all the way around the bar. I think it looks bad and allows for the harness to slide around.

Those back seats look like a high-tech ride at Disney with the bar going across!

Maybe you're thinking of someone else? I've known quite a few people who've done business with them (myself included) -- they have a pretty solid reputation.

Also, seconding (thirding?) the hoops.

What impact does this have on the structural integredy of the car? This looks cool, and I'm assuming this stiffens up the ride, but how does it impact the rest of the car? What was the OEM bar designed for?

agreed. I've even seen some have it wrapped with CF. I thought I heard on the forum (take it with a grain of salt) that this bar is designed for Crumple zones?

It's basically for looks and some basic structural rigidity simply because there's a bar there. But it's not the best thing you could have there. OEM bar was just space filler.

The stock bar isn't strong enough for a support to harness'.

Looks like a direct copy of the Robispec bar that just went into production. Maybe a little less beefy. But I'm just happy when anyone makes parts.

Well if thats the case then I need to buy one, about to get seats next. Would be really awesome if it was carbon wrapped like carbon signal/element does.

Yes you will need to get one, glad to see a few companies working on this now.
I am sure you could have one wrapped easily, but my concern would be that with a harness it will scratch it and loose that nice look where as paint or powder coating will hold up better probably.
