Subject says it all. SPL rears are on the way, but was looking for opinions on front arms. Right now I'm back and forth between the Eibach and SPC. Anyone

Front arms: SPC/Eibach...thoughts?

Right now I'm back and forth between the Eibach and SPC. Anyone share experiences with either of these. Constructions looks similar/identical from what I can tell. As always, thanks in advance! |

I have SPC front arms, and I was able to eliminate the negitive camber after my Swift install. For a DD like me, it's worth it. Longer tire life and a more stock look as the wheels are vertical as opposed to pointing inside.
Hardware wise, they are so-so. There is no redundancy like the SPL front arms(Z33). I hit a deep pothole one day and it broke the locking nut loose on one of the arms....knocking my 370Z out of alignment. With the SPC design, there is a greater possibility for a catastrophic failure. So I wouldn't take these on the track. There are quiet...no squeaking or any other noise. Bottom line, they get the job done for me until a better/safer product comes out. I would buy them again and recommend them to a DD who wants to retain a factory alignment/look and preserve tire life. |
