As long as I don't scrape my bumper I don't care what happens to the plastic underneath there I guess. Anyone thinking the same thing?
i forget who it was, but someone trimmed the front center deflector using a dremel. looked pretty good. you know how the sides of the deflector comes down lower than the center. he trimmed that part off so it's a straight cut.

I've been scraping those things for over 2 years and they are still there. The rubber is very soft so it won't break or crack. My car is a lot lower than ppl with swift springs btw

I use to scape those when I was stock! Yeah they are made of rubber just leave them on and let it scrape. As far as the front one that runs along the middle you can use sand paper to clean it up after a while when it gets bad. The swifts lower 1.2" front so if you don't want it that low get a different spring. Eibach lowers less and if you get RS*R or Tein H Tech from Japan those lower even less.

Hmm mine will eventually come off as well as I want to put the Stillen lip on it color matched. Unless I decide to go with something else. Either way I will end up worry about scraping the lip kit at that point though. My springs should be sitting on the doorstep by now. Question is do I install them now or wait until after I install my exhaust that supposed to come in this month? I want to wait but going to be hard with all the parts sitting around waiting to go swift/spc/spacers. The car should be coming along nicely by Z Nationals which I hope to make it to.

This is why I don't think I'll ever lower my Z. I'm supper gentle on driveways and speed bumps. Never touch the speed bumps but do scrape every once in a while on a steep driveway. Mainly when I don't make the entry angle sharp enough. I probably should measure the lip and see if mine's a little lower than average.

I never scrape (Nismo bumper lip) on speed bumps or driveways unless they are really bad. Rolling curbs are bad too so I got Bridjit curb ramps for home.

Damn I forgot to at tonights meet. I will post tomorrow. Seriously just trim the corners back to make it all one solid flush line and it'll make a big difference.

I've been running swift with the front chin for almost 2 yrs, the chin still looks good up front. It get scrape almost everytime i'm at bump / taking it at 45 deg angle. I've even scrape my flexible joint on the stock exhaust / underbody - cut & replace it couple of time. Yes it only drop on Swift, we have some high+short bumper here in Malaysia. Cant even imagine dropping any lower than swift..lol

Don't take out the wind deflectors it bends anyway so it won't really hurt if you scrape.
You can't have it all in life...You lowered it so expect the worst.
It would be really hard to drive it if its your DD.
I do have an ARK grip but never scrape it yet.
I usually plan my route if Im using the Z to avoid high speed bumps.
Its really a PAIN but thats the price you pay for looking good.

My wind deflectors started pulling away from the underbody, and looked crappy so off they came. Not a big deal.
