Who wants Titanium pad shims the the AP Racing brakes?

Why do you guys think this is a good idea? Titanium (99% pure) thermal conductivity = 12.65 BTU / (hr-ft-F) 304 SST thermal conductivity = 8.09 Seems to me SST

304 SST thermal conductivity = 8.09

Seems to me SST would be better performance and price.
