Any experiences with Mintex Xtreme Pads

Just curious to how well these pads could be for the track? I just bought a AP Racing 6 pot BBK and these pads come with them. Wondering if they

Default Any experiences with Mintex Xtreme Pads

Just curious to how well these pads could be for the track? I just bought a AP Racing 6 pot BBK and these pads come with them. Wondering if they will be great for the track or not? I love my Carbotechs. How do they compare?

Hater.

I did find some info. They seem to be ok but not so much for the track. I guess I could use them as DD pads. Not that I do much of that in this car. Carbotech is going to make some for me.

I have these pads, along w/ the same AP Racing brakes. If you use them for DD duties, be prepared for brake squeal. I even added shims (which don't come w/ the kit, but are available) - but that didn't help much. I'm just putting up w/ it for now, but will likely change to something new soon.

Squealing doesn't bother me I actually like it ( I'm odd). I talked to Carbotech the other day. There going to make some for me. All you have to do is give them the AP part number.
