I’m considering these coilovers…..question? How do the ride day to day driving around city streets and highways? Is it a comfortable ride, is it harsh?

In reality I would like to track my car as much as I can but realistically my car is a daily driven vehicle and would like that comfort when driving around town… Can you give some feedback in regards to that please.

I’m debating on M7 and the KW-V3, KW has a pretty good customer service and warranty on their products. I have been trying to research on M7, they do look great but every review has seem to vague to me and this is the only thread with a review for this set up and any information about this product is good to help make my decision.

The coilovers are very good for street, you can set them up to pretty much be the same as stock but still handle better. I am soon to the point where I need WAY stiffer springs about 12-14K so I have them for sale right now in case you are interested.
I would recommend them if you can get a good deal on them, feel free to PM me as well.

Martin,

I knew this sound stupid but I rather ask you for it. I see that theres 3 adjustment to be done at the rear. Theres 1 for soft/hard adjustment and two locking tab, one at the shock and one at the spring seat itself for height adjustment. My question will be, how do we adjust ride height at the rear..do the one on the spring first then adjust the one on the shocks? I want to see max height on this thing..no info on it. Rep for info later.

you would adjust both the coilover and also the spring adjuster pictured here.

You adjust rear height solely with the adjuster on the spring. The shock is used to set droop.

yes I am, going with JRZ RS PRO, I will be moving up on classes and eventually run full aero, this car is turning out more of a track car than DD track car...
These coilovers saved me a lot of time at the track with proven times.

Back to the subject of true coilovers in the rear: the car is plenty planted in the rear with a true coilover, and feels great. There was some debate in another thread about reinforcing the shock tower braces a bit for the excess load, but that can just be part of your rear cage install.

I know the JRZ's are pricey (at any level!), but the lower-level JRZ RS1 is better bang for the buck than a lot of the options out there at half the price. The dampers are just really top-notch, even if you only get single-adjust and no reservoir. I doubt I need a better coil than that anytime in the next few years. Maybe stiffer springs, but that's easy to swap.
