Default Steering Issue

Hey guys

I wasn't really sure where to put this so I'm sorry if I placed this wrong.
Anyway, I have a 12 Nismo and I've noticed some strange things when making really tight turns. Usually when the wheel is at least 70% turned in either direction. It's like a really rough sounding noise and doesn't feel smooth. Is it supposed to be like this due to the really tight suspension and steering dampeners? Or could this be a result of those suspension blocks they put in when shipping the car (even though I had the dealer double check, it's quite possible they missed it)?

It's almost like tire rubbing kind of sound. Really rough and strange. I would just take it into the dealer I bought it from but I had to drive 400 miles just to find a Nismo. And the nearest Nissan dealer is around 60 miles away. I thought I'd get some input from the wise community and other Nismo owners before I drove to find out.

Thanks again guys

Quick question... do you remember the temp outside when this was happening? I know your in Minnesota and when the weather is below 40 degree's, the summer tire's bounce and jerk around. If it was during the day when it was warmer out, then I would definitely have it looked at. It doesn't sound right.

That's an interesting theory, but yeah it happens anytime really. Thanks though.

You must have the 19 inch wheels. I think they rub the inner fender well on tight turns. Mine makes the same noise.

I have an 09 NISMO and have never rubbed even when I make it understeer or over steer. I am at still running stock suspension. I take it you checked the fluid.

Its usually a skipping of the summer performance tires, not rubbing on the fender. More pronounced when tires are cold.

This is kinda what I feel. It has to be like 5 MPH with the wheel at least 85% cranked to one side. So like really tight slow turns. Otherwise it doesn't happen.

I have the same EXPERIENCE, (notice i didn't say problem.) I'm confident that this is normal seeing how I have less than 3k miles on the Car.
