DBA is an EXCELLENT brand. One of the only ones that owns their own foundry. Hard to beat for daily driving and aggressive use. They often last 2-3 times longer than the regular stuff.

I would have to agree that compared to most any of the aftermarket rotors, DBA is amongst the best in the industry. I have used them quite a bit and have always liked them
Having said that... In case anyone was wondering... ![]() |

That is a lot of coin. You can almost buy a complete front BBK for that kind of money.

^^ LOL. Hahah For the sake of friendly competition.... I have NO problem putting our all American made, light weight, matching set of ALL FOUR, best outer rotor material (blend of inconel, nickel, and grey iron), then heat treat, stress relieved, shot-peined for better, and longer lasting than any other iron rotor material ever. Especially from any overseas cast iron pieces I have seen (including gyrodisc)
I actually liked gyrodisc at first too. I installed them on a couple 350Z's. One customer liked them fine, until they wore out and cracked along the slot after they were turned once (about a years worth of use). A different customer of mine that had them had to get a replacement set from them once, then when they failed again for him (where the hat meets the outer rotor) he decided to go with something different. That's just my personal experience with them, but just like anything...I am sure there are good stories from people who have gyrodisc rotors. |

I'm quite puzzled as to why you are "lol'ing" here Scott. Brakes are nothing to be kidding about, and honestly I really don't see where RA has a stand in the 2 piece brake department.
There are countless claims of GiroDisc's being some of the best 2 piece floating rotors in the market on several different chassis. Hell, we use them on our own time attack STi. I have not only driven our car on countless tracks, but I have also done numerous brake jobs. Never once have I ever had any problems. GiroDisc has nothing to prove in the 2 piece rotor department. They have been around plenty long, and proved they are more than worthy. If you're so confident in your rotors, send us a set, and we'll put them to the test. Truth be told, your rotors are considerably more expensive than girodisc, and have less than half the reputation. Granted repuration can be nothing more than hear-say, but as everyone knows...GiroDiscs have been run through the gamut. At the price I am offering the GiroDisc rotors, I nearly guarantee they will out perform you rotors for nearly $600 less. Let countless customers of GiroDisc back that up as well. Oh, and for the record...its GIroDisc...no GyroDisc. The days of riding Dyno Comps are far gone. For the sake of "friendly competition," care to elaborate on how your "competition inspired" rotors are so much better?
