Springs without lowering

I am interested in the Swift springs, but I don't want the drop associated with them...I scrap the front lip too often already. Is there anything out there that will give me the benefits of the Swift springs, but without the lowering. Also, I am not sure whether springs will help, but if I hit a small bunp at highway speeds on a slight turn, the car "jumps" sideways.

Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to find a solution for under $500 (otherwise wife would nag me for a new pruse or something )

I tried searching the forum, but didn't find anything.

Look up the Nismo suspension - only .5 inch drop but its harsher. It's about 1200 new but you can easily find it under 500 used, struts and springs. I'm having second thoughts on installing mine; driving a lot of freeway mile and kinda like my comfy suspension.

Don't get Nismo, it's way too harsh. Get Swifts, they feel like stock, but handle better. What you do is just trim the plastic lip beneath the spoiler a little, which is what I did. I trimmed the one below the bumper about 1 inch, and the ones by the wheels about .5 of an inch. If you'd like pics, I can show you.

I can drive over school bumps now at 15MPH and go down some very steep driveways without touching them.

Buy coilovers set closest to stock height as possible

Look into the Tein H Tech or RS*R springs for the 370Z. The latter has to be special ordered from Japan. About a .4 to .6 in drop with better handling than stock.

The Nismo springs claim to drop .4 but on my car did not lower, and yes they were harsh as !@#$.

actually tein only makes the "S tech" for the 370z. and they dropped my nismo a lil over an inch.

Not according to the TEIN web site. Maybe they only sell them in Asia like the RS*R.

Get Swift. Don't consider anything else. All other springs ride like crap, are too damned low, or are extremely harsh. Nothing touches Swift.

this is what it says in the 370z section: "370VIP, 370GT, 370GT TypeS" see the type S at the end.... i bet it only comes in that one. the type H would be even lower and i doubt they would do that.

Keep your stock suspension and upgrade your sway bars

If you're not looking to lower your car your only options will be more than $500 (coilovers or Koni shocks)

For Zs? Nothing even comes close. Swift thread confirms that with people who went through all sorts of springs and coilover setups before sticking to Swifts.

It says Fairlady Z34. Isn't that our chassis designation? It also says Base model at the end. They will fit our car.

The H Tech is the less extreme version of the spring over the S Tech.
