Guys, I'm looking at spacers too and found this thread very useful. However I've heard spacers have a negative effect on the handling. How true is this? I'm no track racer, but can get agressive on the road from time to time. Also would you recommend any particular type of spacer?

no negative effects here. larger turning radius is all. just make sure you have them torqued to proper specs and you should be fine.

Ichiba, Project Kics, Z1 all have good rep for making quality spacers.

Perfect setup for stock 19" Rays. I had all 20's and then increased the rears to 25 and I think they look great.

370, How much does the rear tire stick out from the top of the fender? Your close up photo does not show this.

It doesn't stick out. No chance of rubbing at all. Just blends so much better with the body lines

I'm running 20's all around, lowered on Tein's; regret not going 25mm in the back.

I run 20 front and 25 rear spacers on my OEM accessory wheels, the only time it rubbed would be on hard bumps up front.

I just used the bolt-on type. No change in studs for 20mm up front.

Ichiba V2 bolt on spacers all around on mine. Just make sure you use anti-sieze on the back of the spacer and you take the time and effort to torque, drive, remove the wheel and re-tourque then drive and re-torque your wheels. Improper torque techniques will most likely be the cause of any failure. It may seem like overkill to some of you, but I like the peace of mind that they will stay on.
