One question for all you guys, whats the minimum drop or how high can you go with BC Coils. Can you go back to stock height with it ?

Bananaz 05-21-2014 10:53 PM

Yes of course you can be stock height.

Thanks Bananaz, some coilovers like mine - M7 cant go high enough as i wanted. Even at highest height setting, it still sit about 26 1/4'' (fender to ground, stock wheel 295/30/19 profile) at rear thus the question. I want to have more ground clearance now.

No problem... install was smooth... no bumps, creaks, etc. Ride is surprisingly descent. Not much harsher than stock. Front is set really firm and back is really soft. It balances.

If you experience some creaking when going over larger bumps, what is the best way to correct this? Pre-load adjustment?

Depending on your drop your end-links and bushings could be the culprit. I would spray some silicone in the bushings and see. If you have identified it as the strut/shock then that could be preload.

I just went for a ride in my buddies G37x and it sounds like a knocking noise coming from the top strut mount. Nothing crazy loud but it is noticeable.
