on my car, they made a world of difference in the cornering ability of my Z, it definitely improved it over the Stock Sways...

I think he was referring to the ladder brace question not the sway bar.

Yes, I was referring to the ladder brace that is not needed. Stiffer sways are a huge improvement on this car. I am thinking about replacing my Stillen with the Eibach as they are stiffer and lighter.

I have a question as I am lookingat ordering the Eibach Sways today. Why do you all run the softest setting up front and the middle in the rear. I guess that keeps the handling characteristics close to how they were stock while minimizing the roll. But as Dwnshift stated you cant get enough front bar on the car so why wouldn't you run the stiffest setting on the front and middle in the rear? Or is this strictly a decision between running street setup vs track?

No problem. Just trying to understand why others are running the setups they are. If that is typically just for street and then move to the stiffer setting on the front for the track. The hardest my car sees is the Dragon at ZdayZ which has highlighted my need for sway bars and one track day a year. Possibly more as I get the car setup more oriented for the track.

I think many people get it stuck in their
head that a front bar will automatically induce understeer. There are many ways to skin a cat so to speak... Last edited by Dwnshift; 06-05-2013 at 09:12 PM. |

I ordered mine last month and got them within a week. Probably due to the holiday they are a little slow. May give them a call to make sure they received your order and processing it.

Damn I'm getting old and can't remember crap:
Which setting is hard on the Front Sway bar? Is it the one closest to the end of the bar? Also, I notice when changing out the FSB end links the suspension moved, do I need a re-alignment now? Thanks! ***Edit: I think I have it. The hole closer to the rear of the car is stiffest setting.*** Last edited by IMWEZL; 08-11-2013 at 06:52 AM. |
